As per our experiments, this powder is the most suitable for composting of bio-degradable waste material or agricultural crop waste products. Within 4-6 weeks, this powder will convert waste material into compost. If the waste material (upto 400 Kg)is dry, please mix 450 Grams of this powder in 15 Ltr water. Spray this solution over the material. If the material is already wet, we can directly sprinkle over the material. We must ensure that the powder is thoroughly mixed in the bio-degradable waste. Presence of 500 Grams Jaggery in the mixture will increase the speed of composting. In case of heavy rains, we have to cover the material. Every week, we need to turn the material to ensure proper aeration. Presence of 30 to 40 % moisture in the material is necessary for composting. To ensure this, we have to do spray of water, whenever it loses its moisture. Drainage of excess water is also necessary. If we are composting in a container, that must have drainage hole in bottom. For the best results, do not make heap of  your waste material with height of more than 3 feet. If we increase the height of the material more than 3 feet, proper aeration is not possible. Hence, make smaller heaps (always lesser than 3 x 3 feet).

If due to any reason heap size is more, please ensure proper tilling or turning of the material. While using this powder in agricultural farms, heap size is generally increased. In such cases, our farmers should do more frequent tilling or turning. Proper aeration is key to better composting. While composting, there will be no foul smell. Due to aerobic composting, internal temperature of the heap will increase. If the temperature rise is not felt, we should spray more powder of this decomposer.

During extreme cold (7 degree or less), speed of composting may reduce.
