This is a decorative and popular shade loving house plant. This plant shows dense growth from base of plant. Its leaves give more attractive look due to presence of pink colour. Its size is generally smaller than other varieties of Syngonium. It’s very easy to Grow. It may be grown in a hanging pot also.

These plants have fast growth rate and live a long life. If we plant this on open ground or in a big pot, it can grow horizontally in all directions by producing many new plants. We can separate each new plant and plant them at separate place. This method is known as division.

Watering & Sunlight:

The plant can grow very well in diffused or indirect sunlight. It can be grown outdoors also in cold climate areas. Whenever the soil becomes dry, please water the plant. The plant likes misting, especially during summer. Due to more sunlight or temperature (more than 35⁰ C), its leaves may burn.  But whenever climatic conditions will become suitable for this plant, it starts producing new leaves at very fast rate.

Soil:    Water logging is to be avoided. To make the ideal potting mix, 20 % drainage media (river sand/ Leca/ Perlite/ Pumice or rice husk- use any one of them) in potting mix should be available. In rest of the potting mix, we should mix vermi-compost (20 %) and garden soil (60%).

Uses:   1.  Ornamental use, landscaping: This plant is widely used in landscaping and for making green cover under trees.

2.   Indoor Plant:      This plant is also used as indoor plant, hanging plant.
