Plant will be sent with buds. It blooms with a large number of flowers during winter and spring season. The plant blooms indoor also. Its stem is herbaceous but it does not need any supporting stick. This plant is shade loving. It can bloom various types of flower colors (Pink, Red, Yellow White, Orange or depending upon variety). This plant will bloom yellow coloured flowers. Its flowers stay on the plant for approximately 2 weeks. These are perennial plants.
Water & Sunlight: Please do not overwater. Its fleshy leaves store much water in itself and can survive without water even for 2 weeks during winter. Give water, only when upper soil is fully dry. Use of perlite/pumice stones is recommended for use in potting mix. During winter season, this plant can tolerate direct sunlight also. But during summer, must keep it in shady area with diffused sunlight.
Soil: Proper drainage in pot is necessary to avoid root rot. We should give water, whenever potting medium loses moisture. We should prepare the potting mix in such way so that water should reach bottom of pot within 15-25 seconds. This is the basic quality of fast draining soil. Such soil also contributes to make the potting mix more aerated. To make the ideal potting mix for this plant, 20 % drainage media (river sand/ Leca/ Perlite/ Pumice or rice husk- use any one of them) in potting mix should be available. In rest of the potting mix, we should mix vermi-compost (25 %), coco peat (25 %) and garden soil (30%).
Use: It looks awesome at every office or drawing room. This plant is famous for gifting.
