Its white coloured star shaped flowers bloom round the year. The plant likes sunlight (Min 4-5 hours daily). It can sustain temperature upto 45⁰ C also. The plant grows very fast as a climber. The plant needs a support to grow vertically. Some gardeners tie it with wall or any supporting pole. We should prune the plant, if we want to make its growth dense. This plant continues to bloom round the year except frost or extreme winter season. This is a sun loving plant.

Watering & Sunlight:

Whenever the soil becomes dry, please water the plant. This plant loves misting. It is suggested to spray water over leaves while watering the plants.  If you grow this plant in shady area, it can grow, but for blooming minimum 4 hours direct sunlight is must. However, more sunlight will enhance rate of booming. Even with low level of atmospheric humidity (25% ) and high temperature during summer, this plant continues to bloom and grow healthily.

Soil:    We should prepare the potting mix in such way so that water should reach bottom of pot within 15-25 seconds. This is the basic quality of fast draining soil. Such soil also contributes to make the potting mix more aerated. To make the ideal potting mix, 20 % drainage media (river sand/ Leca/ Perlite/ Pumice or rice husk- use any one of them) in potting mix should be available. In rest of the potting mix, we should mix vermi-compost (20 %), cocopeat (20%) and garden soil (40%). If you have planted this in open ground, requirement of fertilisers will reduce, because roots can grow deep in ground to absorb needful nutrients. But if you are having this plant in pot, you must add some liquid fertilisers or vermi-compost every two months for better results.
