This is widely used for healthy growth of indoor plants. This is most commonly used with lucky bamboo, money plant and other plants grown in hydroponic or soil – less system.  It can be used in soil (upto 15%) of other plants also, so it can absorb water for continuous supply to roots. It can retain water for many days. By using this soil- less medium, requirement for frequent watering is also minimised, because it can absorb large amount of water.

Size of these balls is big enough and is used in terrarium also. A coin of Rs.1/- is shown in image to guess about size of the jelly balls. These jelly balls are liked by children also as time – pass game. But, we suggest to keep away from children below 5 years, otherwise they may swallow it.
