This plant is famous for its unique blend of white and green foliage. Stem of this plant is herbaceous and delicate.  This prefers to grow as a hanging plant. It is very easy to grow and does not need special care. We have to protect this plant from high temperature during summer season. Diffused / indirect sunlight with sufficient ventilation is must for its healthy growth. Regular pruning can ensure dense growth of this plant. The best growth of this plant is visible during winter season.

Watering & Sunlight:

It likes to grow with indirect sunlight of shady areas. Salty water may cause dormancy in this plant. If underground water of your area is having higher salinity level, this plant growth may reduce. We should water it, whenever the soil of your pot becomes dry.

Soil:     Drainage in pot is necessary by making sufficient holes in bottom. To make the ideal potting mix, 20 % drainage media (river sand/ Leca/ Perlite/ Pumice or rice husk- use any one of them) in potting mix must be available. It’s a long life plant. Even if you don’t give fertiliser, it shows satisfactory growth. You should add vermi-compost after six months.

Uses:            The plant is also used as single indoor hanging plant in pot.
