Castor cake is prepared by extracting castor oil from castor seeds. The by-product (castor cake) is used as bio pesticide in plants and crops. It is also used as bio-compost for soil. It provides needful nutrient to soil. Effect of this nitrogen rich compost stays in soil for longer period. This is in powder form, so that it can be mixed properly in soil. It also contains other needful nutritional elements like Phosphorous(1.5%) and Potash(1.5%). In addition to this, It also has traces of micro nutrients like Mn, Zn, and Cu.

In comparison with any other organic fertiliser, this is the most effective organic fertiliser. Moreover, it protects roots from nematodes and other pest attack. Simultaneously,  Castor cake is considered better than Neem Cake in terms of Pest control and as a fertiliser also. This can be mixed in soil approximately 10-15%.
