Castor cake is prepared by extracting castor oil from castor seeds. The by-product (castor cake) is used as bio pesticide in plants and crops. It is also used as bio-compost for soil. It protects roots from fungal attack. Simultaneously, it provides needful nutrient to soil. Castor cake is considered better than Neem Cake in terms of Pest control and as a fertiliser also. Effect of this nitrogen rich compost stays in soil for longer period. This is in powder form, so that it can be mixed properly in soil. This can be mixed in soil approximately 10-15%.
