Most of our customers have experienced insects and pests in soil after use of bonemeal. We also carried out experiments with bonemeal and faced same problems in some plants. We were forced to use pesticide to kill them. To come over this problem, we converted our bonemeal into powdered form, so that it gets mixed up with soil properly. By doing so, we witnessed better results in plants growth without any pest attack. However, presence of bit smell of bonemeal is still available in this powdered form of bonemeal. We suggest to use bonemeal in lower portion of potted soil, so that the soil does not attract dogs or birds. If we are using bonemeal in top layer of pot soil, this may be a reason for damage of plants due to dog or bird attack. Please check second image of powdered bonemeal.
Gardeners use bone meal to provide needful nutrients to plants for more blooming and overall better health. This is rich source of Calcium, Phosphorous, Nitrogen and many more nutrients. Bone meal is made by bones of dead animals and waste of slaughter houses. It provides nutrition to plant for longer time and acts as organic fertiliser. Moreover, horticulturists use bone meal very commonly in Rose and other flowering plants. As per opinion of most plant lovers, this is useful with all types of plants.
