Asparagus Densiflorous as Hanging Kokedama

Plant Description:  ASPARAGUS DENSIFLOROUS:  

Common Names:  Foxtail Ferns, Shatavari, Asparagus fern

We will send this Kokedama with 2.5 mtr long yellow string to hang it anywhere. At some places, this Kokedama  is also known as Moss Ball. We have used best quality potting mix in preparing this Kokedama. During hot weather, dip in it water for 5 minutes or spray over base for 7 minutes. For better growth, expose this in sun for maximum hours, however minimum 4 hours exposure to direct sunlight in a week is must for its growth. Asparagus or garden asparagus is a perennial plant. It is not a fern, however, it is a member of the asparagus family. Its brush like leaves give bushy appearance. It’s a long life plant. It can reach max. height of 2 feet. If we grow this plant in soil or ground, it can grow horizontally very well by producing new growth.

It is native primarily to coastal areas in the southeastern part in South Africa.

Uses:         

1.     Ornamental use:   Used in pots and hanging baskets, its green stems are also used by florists in flower decorations.

2.    Landscaping:  To prepare a ground cover, to make linings in landscaping.
